Still Running Internet Explorer 8,9, or 10?

Microsoft has announced after January 12th, 2016 there will no longer be support for older versions of Internet Explorer (IE8, 9 and 10). They will only continue ongoing support for Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7, 8.1, and 10, with the Microsoft Edge browser becoming their primary focus on Windows 10.

Microsoft has put together a small microsite to help home and business users migrate to Internet Explorer 11 or Edge.  This is an important upgrade for all users as no future security updates will be released for older versions of Internet Explorer. This means anyone left still running these older Internet Explorer versions are open to attack from compromised websites.

We mentioned in an earlier article that using older versions of Internet Explorer also affects web usability and development costs, so we're stressing to our clients and prospects to upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer as soon as possible.
